There are few places in Northern Utah as magical in the summertime as the Mantua poppy fields. The Avery family chose a timeless color palette of soft creams and shades of blue, which complemented the natural beauty of the poppy fields beautifully. One of the highlights of the evening came after we finished photographing in the flowers. We made our way to a nearby pasture where the Avery family had the opportunity to meet and gently pet a few friendly horses. It was such a fun surprise for the kids and added an extra layer of excitement and adventure to the session. Those candid moments of curiosity, laughter, and joy quickly became some of my favorite images from the evening.
