Elegant Utah State Capitol Engagement Photos | Kyla + Zeke
There’s something timeless about love stories that begin with laughter, gentle embraces, and the kind of joy that lights up every photo. Kyla and Zeke’s engagement session at the Utah State Capitol was filled with all of those moments — and more. As a Utah portrait photographer, I (Erin Christine Photography) absolutely love capturing couples like these two who radiate happiness, authenticity, and genuine connection.
A Classic Utah Engagement Location
The Utah State Capitol is one of my favorite locations for engagement photos in Salt Lake City. Its grand architecture, marble staircases, and clean white tones create the perfect backdrop for elegant, romantic portraits. The natural light that pours through the tall windows makes every photo feel soft and dreamy — a photographer’s dream setting!
From the sweeping staircases to the stately columns, every corner of the Capitol adds sophistication and timeless charm. Whether you want a modern and polished look or something more classic and romantic, this location truly offers it all.
Kyla + Zeke’s Love Story
Kyla and Zeke are one of those couples that instantly make you smile. Their laughter is contagious, and their chemistry is undeniable. During our session, they couldn’t stop smiling and sharing sweet moments between poses — which made capturing their love so effortless.
We started outside on the Capitol grounds, where the light peeked through the trees, and the mountains framed the background beautifully. Then we moved inside to take advantage of the soft natural light and marble architecture. Kyla’s elegant black dress paired perfectly with Zeke’s classic suit — a combination that looked stunning against the white stone backdrop.
Every image from their session radiates love, warmth, and excitement for their future together.
