Grayson and Gina's wedding was so lovely. There could not have been a better day this summer for such a wedding. The weather was perfect and the sun made for great light. This vintage farm wedding had so many cute and decorative little details that did not go un-noticed. I had a great time spending time with this couple and they could not be more in love and happy to be married. I'm happy to share the moments captured from this beautiful day and hope the rest of my wedding couples could be as great as Grayson and Gina!
Back in May, Katie and I woke up early in the morning to begin our photo adventure throughout Lancaster City and then later on to the train station. It was was so much fun, going around the city and finding fun locations for Katie’s pictures. My pictures couldn't be what they are without Katie’s fun personality and creative ideas!
I was able to second shoot for Rebecca Shivers Photography at Michael and Sarah's wedding in Lancaster, PA. Like always I love shooting with Becky! I was so grateful to get to photograph this covenant wedding at the most beautiful Westminster Presbyterian Church! Sarah did a great job decorating her wedding by incorporating splashes of red with her elegant roses, beautiful vintage lace, and and candles that sat in coffee beans. That's right, coffee beans! I love this idea! I think this couple really really loves coffee because they even had Prince Street Cafe (located in Downtown Lancaster) bring in a coffee bar!
Andrew and Kara got married on September 6, 2014. The radar all week had been calling for lots of rain and I was getting pretty nervous since both the ceremony and reception would be outside! We finally got to the big day and we had bright sunshine...and 90 degree weather...in September! I knew Kara before the wedding because we went to the same high school and worked together over the summer. Just before her wedding she finished her training at the police academy and is now working full time in law enforcement! How cool is that?! Not only that but her husband is also in law enforcement. Andrew and Kara decided to go with a Hawaiian themed wedding to go with their outdoor, waterfront wedding venue. Eventually throughout the day, the clouds started rolling in and giving us a much needed cool down after a very hot day. I'm sure the bride and groom as well as everyone else were very grateful that the rain held off up until the end of the wedding!
