Oh what a joy it was to photograph these three! Katherine, Chris, and Jade were my first family I photographed in my new studio space and it was beautiful. I know Katherine from a local group in San Diego called Tuesdays Together and over time, particularly through her pregnancy, we got to know each other and become friends!
This tiny little girl (who was a month old the day of the shoot) has grown so much in the last few months, it's amazing. She is such a cutie so hopefully this isn't the last time your see a blog post featuring Katherines family.

Welcome to the world baby Harper! Harper entered this world right before the new year in just enough time to say bye to 2016 and hello 2017! Photographing this tiny little baby girl was wonderful! Harper was just 6 days young for her first official photo session and just as tiny and cute as could be, although she just felt extra tiny to me since I have a baby a couple months older who is quite the giant!
One of my favorite things to capture during lifestyle sessions is the nursery. All the little details mom (and dad too) put into decorating as they anticipate the arrival of their little one is important to remember and document, especially once things get hectic and busy and the nursery doesn't look quite the way it did in the beginning.
I love being able to see and meet the baby whom I once photographed while still unborn, kicking away in her mommys belly. See Lori and Bryn's maternity pictures here: Lori and Bryn | La Jolla Maternity Session

This cute baby girl was so good for our shoot she slept so peacefully for us and didn't give us much trouble :) She is happy little girl who will give her family much joy and happiness as she grows!

So the news is out! Erin Christine Photography is moving to San Diego, California! Sometime in the beginning of May I will be traveling across the country to get ready to begin a new life. This move brings a lot of new changes and adventures for me. The first, and the biggest change is that I will be a wife!! I am so excited to be a wife and be married to my wonderful fiancé` Michael. We are tying the knot at Michael’s church on May 22 with a reception to follow. This will be the first time that most of my family has been out to the West Coast so we are all going to be experiencing something new! After working with so many brides as a photographer, I can say those times have helped me in my own wedding planning but it is definitely a big difference being on the other side! Lots of people have been asking me and making comments like, "Since you're the one getting married, who will shoot your wedding?!" I am happy to say that the amazing Sposto Photography will be gracing us with her skills and photographing Michael and I's wedding day :) We were able to meet with her while i was last in California and had our engagement pictures taken by her. (Photos below)
The next thing I am excited about in making the move to California is restarting my business there. For the last half a year I've held back on marketing my business here on the East Coast since I knew I was about to make the big move to San Diego. Now that it’s getting closer to the date (136 to be exact, not that I'm counting or anything ;), I have been working on things to change my business and reach a new client base in California, so if you know anyone in Southern California, send them my way!
I also want to mention that I am still booking weddings for the 2015 year, so if you're still looking for a photographer for your wedding, do not hesitate to go to the top of the page and click the contact tab :)
