Christine and Justin had such a beautiful maternity session! The location was absolutely beautiful despite the fact that it was a very hot and humid day, we had to work around hundreds of Pokemon Go players all over the park! I've shot many session at this location before and never had it been so busy...I guess it's a popular game, haha! Anyways, despite the many people looking down at their phones and taking up locations I normally use, we all made away with a great session.
Christine makes such a beautiful pregnant lady, and of course it helps when you show up in a gorgeous flowing maternity gown! Thank you guys for being so easy and laid back to work with, and being up to getting in between tons of thorny rose bushes :) Doing things a bit dangerously always make for extra special pictures :) Just a short while till your baby girl is here!

If you follow my social media posts, the last update was around 21 weeks when we shared our gender reveal photos! If you didn't know already , we are having a little boy! The gender reveal photos turned out super cute, and I'm thankful for Mary Taylor Photography for capturing those for us :) I'll share those below as well!
Sorry for not sharing more updates but I'll try to keep most updates as I get closer and closer to my due date! Baby Delgado (Name is remaining a secret until he makes his entrance) is due October 15th, although I've been told most first babies arrive as many as TEN days late! He's already measuring slightly big, either because he's further along, or just a large baby. My guess is he's just a large baby due to the fact that I was a big baby, my brother in law was a big baby, and my grandma (on my dads side) said my uncle was a big baby. So basically we have a history of big babies in the family. The chunkier, the better, and believe me, I will post lots of his chunky self when he enters this side of earth :D
A lot of people have asked me along the way how I've been feeling and how the baby is doing and thankfully I've been able to continue with a, "I feel great!" and, "We're both healthy!". So I definitely want to continuing praising God for that! I'm thankful things have been going well for us so far and hope for your prayers for things to continue to be healthy for both of us!
This pregnancy is going by WAY too fast. I love carrying him so close with me and these moments of kicks throughout the day. He seems to already be camera shy because whenever he's super active and I pull out the phone to video his movements he stops! He has no idea what's coming for him picture wise once he's born so he can stay camera shy for now but not much longer!
Here's to the last week of my 2nd trimester, I hope my 3rd is as nice as my second!
Stacy and Richie rocked their maternity session this past spring. They we’re a fun and easy couple to work with and I had a great time getting to know them. This is one of my favorite parts of photographing couples. I love meeting others and getting to know about them and make a lot of connections. Along with the natural look of their session Stacy wanted to use a few different props she had. I don’t normally use props in my sessions but the ones they chose we’re super cute and had good meaning! Also, those little blue moccasins we’re absolutely adorable, and believe it or not are from Old Navy! I really want to find some similar for our baby boy due in October!
You may notice the cute little onesie they are holding which has the month/year little baby Heath would be welcomed into the world. Though Heath was expected in April, he decided to make his entrance slightly early, so having these pictures displaying April made for a nice little joke in their family, especially since these pictures are now displayed in baby Heath's room!
When I showed up to meet Heath for the first time outside the womb and take his newborn photos, seeing the photos of Stacy and Richie’s maternity pictures displayed in his room we’re so encouraging! I love seeing work from previous sessions displayed on the walls of client’s homes. This has always been my goal; to give clients so beautiful they can’t help but display them on their walls. This quiet setting in East Lake was perfect for Lorena and Ryan's maternity pictures. Lorena was expecting her third baby and at the time decided to wait and be surprised as to what God was going to bless them with for this pregnancy. They have already been blessed with two little boys already and are very excited (and surprised!) to announce to welcome a baby girl! What a wonderful surprise!
