Anniversary Portrait Session | Laguna Beach

I was so honored to meet this wonderful couple last summer.  I drove up to meet them in Laguna Beach as they were there celebrating their anniversary of FORTY years!  I'm glad they wanted to celebrate and capture this great accomplishment with a photo session.  I brought a beautiful bouquet, created by Studio 2053 to make this session feel extra special.

They were an encouragement to me as a newlywed and expecting my first child at the time. The fact that they decided to take the time to celebrate them is wonderful and we can all take away this gesture.  We may not be able to take a few days for vacation but even if we are able to spend a day with our spouse to cherish each other so that fire that was once flaming inside will continue to kindle for a lifetime.

Chris + Denise | Romantic Beach Session at Silverstrand Beach

Coronado Engagement Photographer

I absolutely loved taking pictures of these two!  There were so much genuine smiles and laughter shared between these two. They’re definitely one of the most affectionate and adoring couples I know!

The sun fell perfectly behind Silver Strand Beach for this session, creating a romantic feel in these photos.  This spot is absolutely stunning for pictures.  If you ever get a chance to go, on one side is the ocean (usually filled with people) and the bayside is usually deserted (definitely more intimate and quiet).  This is perfect for photo shoots as you don’t have to worry about people being in the background of your photos or in the way of a place you wanted to take a picture.

I’m so thankful I was able to photograph this couple and capture their love for each other.  We could not have asked for a better day and amazing sunshine.  I was getting a little worried because even though San Diego is known for its sunshine, earlier in the day it was a bit cloudy.  Thankfully when it was time for their shoot, the sun was shinning so bright and lasted up until the last few pictures where it sunk in behind the clouds.  Believe it or not, the following day bore rain showers that were desperately needed in Southern California.

Davi & Brandon - One Year Anniversary

When I was visiting Maryland for a wedding, I got together with my cousin and her boyfriend for their one year anniversary and was able to take some adorable photos of them!  I've always desired to take photos at this little airport in Edgewater, Maryland so with a few emails I made it happen.  Unfortunately we didn't have much time with the rain coming in an actually raining on us during the shoot but we were able to get a good variety of pictures :)

Raeanne & James Baltimore Engagement

Raeanne has been a dear friend of mine since she became my RA in college.  We have shared a lot together over the years and when I found out her and her boyfriend (well now fiance`) became engaged, I was so excited for both of them!

Since Raeanne and I live just over two hours from each other, we decided to meet in the middle for the engagement shoot.  I was so pleased with this beautiful little town I found in Baltimore.  The weather worked out pretty great, I thought we were going to get some rain for our shoot but thankfully it stopped right as we started! Overcast skies with a little bit of morning sunshine, I'll take it!

If you can't tell from these photo's, this couple happens to be madly in love and make such a great pair!  I'm thankful I was able to spend such a lovely morning with Raeanne and James before I left for California.  Raeanne, you will be a beautiful bride and make an amazing wife to James, you both are so wonderful together!!
